I had thought that I wasn’t going to be able to take part in this month’s Ko-Fi Author Avengers Writing Prompt, but I had a flash of inspiration a couple of days before Christmas and now there’s a brand new short story to share with you.
This month’s prompt was:
In the dark of night, you hear a voice: the voice you most want to hear in the world, and the one you know is impossible to be hearing again.
Sending out a HUGE thanks to Victoria Audley for choosing that prompt – it’s perfect for this time of year.
As usual, I’ve interpreted this one a little loosely. I’m not sure Glintsprock particularly wants to hear this voice, but he’s a weird little chap, so you never know!
One dark winter night, Glintsprock hears a voice – a voice he hasn’t heard for five years…
