I feel like I was a little bit slow getting my story for this month written, but somehow I made it happen!
This month’s prompt was:
You, a meteorologist, have been abducted by aliens who believe you can save their planet from an incoming meteor.
My story’s description:
Gerdelai, the gnomish scholar, is looking forward to a quiet night in with a good book and a lovely cup of tea, but after a mishap with a plague wand, it’s clear that isn’t going to happen. Somehow, the scholar is transported away, and it’s up to him to save a world and all the people in it.
