It’s just coming up to 10.40pm on the 17th December. This time next week it will be Christmas Eve and I will probably be over-excited and full of the Christmas spirit. Is rum a Christmas spirit?
One of the great things about Christmas is presents. Sure, I could say it’s about family and blah blah blah… it is, but presents are cool… and I’ve got you something.
Book 2 in my “The Others” trilogy is currently being checked through by my lovely alpha reader. After that, it will head over to my team of beta readers and then I’ll make some more changes before it reaches you. Instead of sitting around (or working on one of the many other stories I have going on in my head), I thought I’d set myself a challenge. The challenge was to write a short story or novella and publish it in time for Christmas Eve. I decided to embark on this little journey on 28th November… and, somehow, the book is now published.
“Jingle Bells” is the result of my challenge and it’s different from most other books. The main difference is that, so far, I’m the only person who has read it. As a result, there’s a small smattering of typos hiding within its pages, but hey, this was always more of a fun project/challenge than anything else.
If you would like to read it (warts and all), you can grab it from Amazon, Kobo (ePub) and Gumroad (ePub and mobi). Due to reasons best known to Amazon, the Kindle version is currently set at 99p (or your currency’s equivalent), but it’s free everywhere else. If you would like a free version of the mobi file for your Kindle device, just head over to Gumroad and select it. Gumroad does, of course, give you the opportunity to throw some money my way. If you feel like buying me a coffee, go for it!
Alternatively, if you would like a real book (like the one in the photo), you can get it from Amazon.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
